Gumball bathtub photos have always been a dream of mine. If sitting and playing in 4,000+ gumballs doesn’t make you smile, I have no idea what will. This was probably the easiest session ever, since all the kids’ faces lit up as soon as they saw that big bath tub full of gumballs. We all had a good time playing around, and we even grabbed a clear umbrella to do a gumball “rain shower”. The girls thought that was really hilarious. These three are always a ton of fun, and it’s easy to take photos of such sweet and beautiful kiddos.
Colby’s dad is a pilot, so we had to include some pilot baby photos for his 4 month session in the studio the other day. He is just the cutest thing with these beautiful, clear blue eyes and chubby cheeks. He smiled the whole time and I tickled and played with him for the entire 30 minute session. I just love this blue romper from The Bookworm Crochet as well. It brought out his eye color perfectly. Isn’t he such an angel?
His mommy and daddy wanted one family photo at the end as well, so we snagged one right before Colby’s snack time.
It’s always fun to wrangle twins. I had my hands full with these twin photos of these adorable 6 month olds! After they warmed up, they were all smiles and we captured some precious moments. I have enjoyed seeing these two several times this year and will see them again in a few months. Mama has the pink bunny and the football at each session we do, so we can track the progress of their growth easily. I just love the idea of bringing in something sentimental to photograph each time they have photos in the first year.
This little lady looks so awesome in purple! And this Cora & Violet romper just fit her perfectly.
This smile is just infectious!!!
My friend, Missy from Missy Ann Photography, asked me to take some generational photos for her. How could I possibly say no? So, we headed on down to the Parker Rose Garden for this beautiful sunset session. I even managed to lug my small settee into the field as the sun set behind the trees. It was truly a beautiful evening, and that is due mostly to the awesome company I shared it with. We danced, hugged, sang and laughed throughout the session. I always love photographing my friends and their loved ones. The love and joy that radiated from this group was so easy to see.
