I just adore these 1 year old Princess photos of baby Liana. We started with some sweet and simple photos to really capture her personality. As you can see, she was smiley (including that adorable dimple) and oh-so-cute during our time together. Her favorite thing to do (besides eating her cake) was play with the pearls I have. Babies always love playing with those pearls!
Lia’s mama had the BEST idea, too. Her cake smash cake was from Nothing Bundt Cakes! Which was genius because I get babies all the time that can’t stand their cake smash cakes because the icing is too sweet. Since the bundt cake just has a light cream cheese base icing, it isn’t too sweet for the little ones. I am totally going to recommend them for my clients from now on – Liana LOVED her cake!
Sweet Harper had her newborn photos taken in my new Austin, Texas studio! I was so excited to finally be able to use my new studio space since our big move 2 months ago. It has been quite the effort to get the studio ready for these Austin babies. What a wonderful first baby she was in my studio. She didn’t make a sound and slept the entire session. I couldn’t have asked for a more cooperative newborn. I just love the photos of her with her Mommy – they make my heart smile. As always, I used one of my favorite Mia Joy Studios rompers. Mia Joy makes the most beautiful, dainty baby clothes. I think I may own half of her shop….
Enough chatter – on with the photos!
Check out these adorable dapper 1 year old photos of baby Hudson. Isn’t he just adorable? If you haven’t already seen this cutie’s other Baby First Year Plan photos, you MUST check them out. I will miss this sweet boy. He is always so happy and bubbly when I see him. It’s always bittersweet when my first year baby plan babies grow older. I get pretty attached to them when I see them every few months. What an amazing job I have being able to watch these precious babies grow! Hudson wasn’t all that excited about his cake smash but I just couldn’t help but love his sweet smirks in these photos. The weather was perfect at the Parker Rose Garden, and Hudson had so much fun running around at the garden.
I was so excited to do a rainbow baby session with my brand new rainbow fokati rug from Luneberry. You may remember this sweet face since Sloan is on my baby first year plan. We all had a lot of fun in the studio since Miss Sloan was so smiley the entire session. What a doll baby she is! I can’t wait to see her again in a few months for her 1 year session. She has gotten so big and beautiful over the last year. It is always bittersweet for me to get to a 1 year session, because I know I won’t see this sweetheart as often in the coming years. Enough sadness, check out these adorable smiles:
There are few things I love more in photography than a smiling sitter session like this one from Carter. He is seriously the happiest baby I have ever been around. If you don’t remember this cute mug, he was the baby that laughed through his entire 4 month photo session. What a joy he is to have in the studio. He warmed up to me in no time, and we had a long conversation back and forth complete with lots of “baba” (which is his new favorite word). Those beautiful blue eyes and that smile could melt any heart! I can’t believe we only have 1 more session left in his baby plan. I will miss seeing him every few months in the studio. He was the first baby to use my new Cora & Violet “Kade” outfit which I am now in LOVE with. I can’t wait to see him again here in a few months.
